The future of ministry is back to the basics--- where faith and works will go hand in hand. As the world gets more advanced; ministers will approach the works of ministry in a non-traditional manner; the works of ministry will not be conducted solely behind pulpit; instead, it'll go hand in hand in the industries: government, media, science, engineering, and education.
That time is here where faith is integrated into the primary call of ministers as seen in James 2:18 "But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. "Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works."
The future of ministry will also be seen in the Nehemiah 4:17 "Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon"
Ebenezer Gabriels once shared the visions of the decade where there'll be prophet-Engineers, pastor-senators; those whose spiritual gifts will be used in the industries to fulfill mandates that advances in the world in creative and powerful ways.
There'll be more demand for ministers in Spiritual Care fields in hospitals, in law enforcement, education, research, law and justice and more areas of government.
Right now, we have too many ministers behind the pulpit than needed. Lesser ministers will focus on pulpit ministries in the church, and more ministers will seek to fulfill their ministry callings in the industries.
The future of ministry is here; and this is what we're doing right now at IAUC, preparing leaders for the future of spiritual leadership and ministry works in the industries.
